The Incisor plus his 50% weapon bonus damage is freaking ridiculous, and Conc shot does impressive damage against Collector barriers. If you need to access additional cheese, remember that the Incisor is bugged and does insane damage when on your squad mates- if you want to restart, bring Zaeed and give him squad incendiary or warp ammo. Sure, caster classes don't do as much damage with their abilities, but Adepts can still restrict movement with Lift, Throw and Singularity, Engis can still distract foes just as easily with their drones, and Charge + Inferno ammo still owns for Vanguards. Insanity from level 1 is probably easiest with Infil or Soldier, though I would say that if you're doing a NG+ that shifts, because those two are most dependent on using weapons to deal damage and mostly control the battlefield that way, and in NG+ your weapons take a bigger hit from going back to the start in terms of upgrades. It does quite a bit less damage, but it does strip protections away like nobody's business. It actually has 60 total trigger pulls, as opposed to the Mantis' 10 and the Incisor's 15. Especially on Insanity, any kind of prolonged firefight is going to drain my sniper rifle ammo. My problems with all of the ME2 sniper rifles is their limited capacity. Then I switched to the Viper. When that happened, I usually got mobbed by Husks, who wouldn't kill me as much as stun-lock me out of cover, so the Collectors could finish me off. What I mean is, while I'd hang back and snipe Collectors, Grunt and Miranda would frequently handle the Husks. Husks weren't really the problem.except when they were, lol. TL DR: I call bullshit on people saying Infiltrator Insanity is easy mode. The single shot sniper rifle, the Tempest and DLC Heavy pistol, with the Geth Plasma Shotgun. Grunt has the Claymore and Mattock, Miranda has the Tempest and Heavy Pistol (sorry, can't remember the name.) I use the Mantis, I think.
